Day 1: Huaraz – Llaca Valley (3900 m) – Moraine Camp (4600 m)
We will leave Huaraz by private transport to Llaca Valley. Then, we will ascend through a zigzag path to the moraine camp, where we will set up camp. In the afternoon, we will conduct some climbing courses.
- Car transport: 2 ½ hours
- Hiking: 4 hours
Day 2: Moraine Camp – Vallunaraju Summit (5686 m) – Moraine Camp – Huaraz
We will depart very early (between 3 and 4 am) towards the summit. We will ascend the glacier through gentle slopes until we pass by the left side of Vallunaraju South. We will reach the col that connects both summits and take the left path, with a 40° slope, to reach the summit. From the top, we will enjoy impressive views of the Callejón de Huaylas and the city of Huaraz. The return will follow the same route back to the moraine camp. Finally, we will return to Huaraz.

- Dark sunglasses (UV protection).
