About Ana
"Creating authentic connections between travelers and Peru's local communities"
I am Ana Villanueva. Being born and raised in these places has increased my pride in living in my homeland, Peru, and studying tourism.
As a certified tour guide and trekking specialist, I noticed from a young age that although tourists enjoyed their visit to Peru, they didn’t really connect with the local communities they visited.
This motivated me to create a successful way to help the local residents economically, socially, and environmentally. I decided that the best way to achieve this was through the direct purchase of local products, whether for food for the treks or by collaborating in the work carried out by the locals.
