This is the most comprehensive tour on Lake Titicaca, offering travelers a unique experience with immersive tourism in direct contact with the local Quechua people of Amantani. Experience an unforgettable visit to understand the simplicity and hospitality of this population. The visit includes a hike to the highest points of the island where the temples of Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama are located, offering a great observatory to enjoy the beauty of the island and see the vastness of Lake Titicaca with a unique sunset. Accommodation is provided in simple and comfortable family homes.
Day 1
- 7:45-8:00 am: Pick up from hotels in Puno.
- Once at the Lake Titicaca dock, we will sail by speedboat to first reach the floating island of the Uros. There will be time to listen to explanations of their customs and see their handmade crafts.
- 1:00 pm: Arrival at Amantaní Island for family allocation for the night, where they will provide meals. After settling in, you will have lunch and then can help or offer gifts such as school supplies, clothing, or medicine.
- 4:00 pm: One-hour hike to the highest part of the island.
- 6:30 pm: Return and dinner at the family's house on the island.
- 8:00 pm: Welcome party with the typical costumes of the island.
Day 2
- 7:00 am: Breakfast time with the family.
- 8:00 am: Motorboat departure to Taquile Island.
- 9:00 am: Arrival at Taquile Island with 3 hours of free time to explore the island.
- 11:30 am: Start of lunch.
- 12:30 pm: Departure from Taquile Island towards Puno.
- 3:00 pm: Arrival in the city of Puno.
