Day 1

  • Transfer from the hotel or airport to the office to try on rubber boots. For those not staying at the hotel, you can safely leave your luggage at the office.
  • Departure to the lodge before 10 a.m. by land and river, taking approximately 3 hours.
  • Warm welcome at the lodge upon arrival and check-in.
  • Start the tour near the lodge and observe the smallest monkey in the world, the Pygmy Marmoset. This will be your first experience in the jungle. Then we will walk through our botanical garden, explore medicinal plants, and learn about their composition.
  • Dinner time, followed by a night boat excursion to see caimans, nocturnal birds, and mammals.

Day 2

  • After breakfast, an excursion to swim in the Amazon River and spot pink and gray dolphins.
  • Observe the world's largest aquatic plant, the Victoria Regia, and iguanas.
  • Piranha fishing.
  • Sunset view at Sapote Lagoon.
  • Dinner, followed by a night walk to search for tarantulas and large nocturnal frogs.

Day 3

  • After or before breakfast (depending on coordination with the guide and the schedule), birdwatching to listen to the sounds of dawn.
  • Boat excursion to lagoons or upstream creeks to search for different bird and monkey species.
  • Authentic visit to the San Juan de Yanayacu community (here you can donate clothes, school supplies, medicine).
  • Observation of the Shansho/Hoatzin, a prehistoric bird that lives in swamps.
  • After dinner, a canoe excursion to listen to the jungle at night.

Day 4

  • After breakfast, a kayak or canoe excursion exploring the cochas along the Yanayaku River.
  • Relaxation time in hammocks, puffs, or swimming in the Yanayacu River using kayaks.
  • At 1 p.m., return to the office to collect your luggage and arrive around 4 p.m. to go to your hotel or catch your flight.
