Hotel Pickup – Taray Viewpoint – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Chinchero
7:30 AM – We begin the tour with pickups from centrally located hotels in Cusco.
This majestic journey starts at 7:30 AM with hotel pickups, offering the chance to experience a variety of microclimates. Our first stop is the Taray Viewpoint, where you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We then head to Pisac to explore its impressive archaeological complex, followed by a visit to the town of Pisac to see a local silversmith workshop.
Next, we continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant. After lunch, we arrive in Ollantaytambo to visit the living Inca town. Some travelers will stay here to catch the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, while the rest of the group will continue to Chinchero to explore its archaeological park and the textile traditions of this magical village.
Return to Cusco: Approximately 7:30 PM

Recomendations
- We recommend arriving in Cusco the day before the tour to adjust to the altitude and, most importantly, to be ready for the scheduled pickup time.
- Clothing should be appropriate for the season and planned activities. The sunny or Andean summer months (mid-April to October) can bring intense sun during the day with temperatures reaching up to 68°F (20°C), but nights can drop sharply to around 41°F (5°C). We suggest bringing lightweight or long-sleeved clothing for the day and warm layers for the evening.
- During the rainy season (November to April), it’s advisable to bring waterproof clothing and shoes that can withstand water and cold.
- If you plan to engage in other outdoor activities around Cusco—such as camping, hiking, biking, or motorcycling—be sure to wear appropriate clothing and gear.
- The program shown here is a one-day tour, but if you’d like to extend your stay, please ask about our Cusco packages that include hotel and tours ranging from 4 to 6 days.
