Day 02: Moraine camp – summit Vallunaraju – descent and transport to Huaraz.
At 2:00 a.m. approx. After an early breakfast, our ascent begins and after 20 minutes we will arrive at the beginning of the glacier. After roped ourselves up and verifying all the technical material, we will continue the ascent through the south-west face and after overcoming some cracks and changing paths (due to climate change). We will arrive at the pass to finally head along an almost narrow ridge in the direction of its top (5685 masl). From the top we will have wide and panoramic views of the great mountain chain of the Cordillera Blanca and its highest peaks such as Huascaran, Huandoy, Chacraraju, Copa, Chopicalqui.
